SSD And SSI Denial

At the Law Offices of Katherine L. Niven & Associates, PC, we represent disabled individuals whose initial application for benefits has been denied. If the Social Security Administration denies your application, it will send you a letter giving you the reasons. This is something of a form letter, so do not be upset by what it says.

Also, do not be discouraged by the denial; we can request a hearing for you. Please note that you have 60 days from the date of the denial to file an appeal. If you wait longer than 60 days to appeal, you lose the right to do so. Please call our office, and we will handle the appeal for you as long as you sign and return the paperwork that we provide.
