Melissa graduated from Widener Law Commonwealth in 2022. While in law school, Melissa handled cases at the on-campus Central PA Law Clinic, advocating for clients involved in landlord-tenant disputes. During law school, Melissa also worked for Mid-Penn Legal in York, helping clients navigate Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security applications to ensure they could maintain housing during the pandemic.
Upon earning her Juris Doctor degree, Melissa was employed by the York County Public Defender’s Office, primarily assisting clients with DUI charges and ARD applications. Most recently she was part of the Automated Enforcement Hearing Officer Team of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation within the Governor’s Office of General Counsel.
Prior to law school, Melissa was a school administrator and educator in the York City School District, with focuses on STEM Education and School, Family, Community Collaboration.
Melissa lives in York with her husband and two sons.
