Jacqueline “Lynette” Carter Joins Minority Bar Committee

Marzzacco Niven & Associates is thrilled to announce that firm attorney Jacqueline “Lynette” Carter has joined the Minority Bar Committee (MBC) Leadership Team. The Minority Bar Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) works to ensure full and equal protection of minorities in the PBA and in the legal and judicial systems. Lynette will serve as the secretary of the MBC during the 2022-23 calendar year.

The MBC stated, “On behalf of the MBC, we thank you, Lynette for assuming this important role within our committee.” 

Lynette is a social security disability and personal injury attorney at Marzzacco Niven & Associates. A Zimbabwean American, Lynette is fluent in English and Shona, a Bantu language of the Shona people of Zimbabwe. She is also a first-generation lawyer.

Lynette earned her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and her bachelor’s degree from Messiah University. Before joining Marzzacco, Lynette worked as a prosecutor for Dauphin County. Prior to obtaining her law degree, she served as a research analyst for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and a budget analyst for the state senate. Lynette obtained her bar admission in December 2020 and is licensed to practice in all courts in the commonwealth.
