Marzzacco Niven & Associates Participates in Wills for Heroes

Marzzacco, Niven & Associates is proud to announce our attorneys’ participation in the Wills for Heroes program. Wills for Heroes is a program that offers free wills, living wills, and powers of attorney (health care and financial) to first responders, military veterans, and military spouses/partners.

If a person dies without a Will, intestate laws will govern how the person’s property is distributed — not the decedent’s wishes. Therefore, Wills for Heroes seeks to connect first responders and military veterans with volunteer attorneys who can provide estate planning services at no cost to them. To date, WFH has provided more than 7,000 free estate planning documents.

On December 10, 2022, The Widener Commonwealth Law School and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division conducted a Wills for Heroes program for active and retired Pennsylvania first responders, military veterans, and their spouses and significant others. Our attorneys at Marzzacco, Niven & Associates volunteered their time and expertise to draft critical estate planning documents for these heroes.

We were proud to give first responders and military veterans peace of mind about where their property and assets would go after their death. It was an honor to help preserve their legacy, considering how much these men and women have given to our communities and country.
