Three Marzzacco Niven & Associates Lawyers have been named in the 32nd edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Firm Owner, Chris Marzzacco, Jordan Marzzacco and Rebecca Bailey, all members of the firm’s personal injury department, were selected to the latest edition of the publication. All three lawyers are receiving this recognition for their expertise in personal injury litigation, specifically in the area of plaintiffs’ matters.
Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication company in the legal profession. It was founded on the principle that the best lawyers know who the best lawyers are. Each year, they conduct exhaustive peer review surveys in which tens of thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. Only the top-rated lawyers earn recognition. To date, they’ve recognized over 143,000 lawyers for outstanding performance in their field.
Recognition with Best Lawyers in America is based entirely on “Purely Peer Review” methodology that has made Best Lawyers the gold standard for legal recognition in the United States and abroad. That is to say that candidates must be nominated by their peers and then evaluated and vetted.
Chris Marzzacco has been named to The Best Lawyers in America every year from 2017 to the present and has also received other prestigious peer-reviewed recognition in “Super Lawyers” every year from 2016 to the present. Chris Marzzacco, the managing firm’s lawyer, handles complex injury cases involving catastrophic injury and death. Marzzacco represents families of those killed by others and those injured in accidents throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has represented clients throughout the United States. Marzzacco currently serves as a Governor on the Board for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ), the trial lawyers’ association in his home state.
Jordan Marzzacco and Rebecca Bailey have been named to the sixth edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America! Both litigators are recognized for their work in the field of plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation. Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch recognizes lawyers who have been in practice for 5-9 years who have demonstrated outstanding professional excellence in private practice. Recognition with a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch award is based entirely on the same “Purely Peer Review” methodology that has made Best Lawyers the gold standard for legal recognition in the United States and abroad.
That is to say that candidates must be nominated by their peers and then evaluated and vetted.
This is the second such inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America! for Jordan, and the first inclusion for Rebecca.
Jordan Marzzacco earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh before graduating magna cum laude with her law degree from Widener University School of Law. During her time at Widener, Jordan served on the Widener Law Journal review staff and wrote articles about personal injury matters that were published in the journal.
Every year since 2020, Jordan has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star,” another prestigious, peer-reviewed organization, as well as being named to the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 under 40” for the same period. Jordan handles a wide variety of personal injury matters for the firm and also handles much of the firm’s management. In 2024, Jordan obtained a $950,000.00 settlement in a mediation for a client who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash.
She is currently serving as the Future Leaders Section Chair for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ), the trial lawyers’ association in her home state.
Rebecca L. Bailey received her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2015, where she was a Woman’s Law Caucus Member and a student mentor. After law school, Ms. Bailey was an associate in another worker’s compensation and personal injury law firm.
